Here's my prototype:

d workBlock s 1024 varying

d deblock pr like(SUCCESS_RC)
d inpSepChar 10 const varying
d inpBlock const like(workBlock)
d outSingle like(workBlock)

This lets me call deblock with a 1 byte delimiter and a 512 byte "block",
but I can't use a short token - I always need to pass a 1024 byte variable.
Or do I? Should I even worry about it, since varying seems so efficient?
