Here's my prototype: d workBlock s 1024 varying d deblock pr like(SUCCESS_RC) d inpSepChar 10 const varying d inpBlock const like(workBlock) d outSingle like(workBlock) This lets me call deblock with a 1 byte delimiter and a 512 byte "block", but I can't use a short token - I always need to pass a 1024 byte variable. Or do I? Should I even worry about it, since varying seems so efficient? Buck
