Are you using binding directories? If you are you may have specified the
library where the service pgm initially resided instead of *LIBL and that
would explain why it can't find it now, because it is in an entirely
different library.

Subject: Program can't find service program

Good morning--

We are in the early stages of working with ILE and service programs. I
have a puzzling dilemma I've been working on here with another programmer.
I've searched the archives and not found anything that exactly addresses
our problem. I've also found no specific help in the ILE concepts manual.

We have moved a service program from one library to another. Now when the
program that has this service program bound to it is invoked, it gets the
error Service program not found, although it is in a library in the library
list.

I'm sure this is a simple problem and we're overlooking something basic,
but we haven't been able to noodle this one out. Any ideas on what we can
try would be much appreciated.

Thanks--
