> Now, if an OPM program calls an ILE program (that is compiled with ActGrpof *caller), will there be a problem? Mostly no, but potentially. Sometimes after reclaiming activation groups you can get some quirky stuff. Remember that the OPM run in DAG which can not be reclaimed. > I understand that if we put the override scope at *Job, the override(s) used will be in effect for all programs called within the job stream.....right? There will be times that this is not wanted, and for those situations, the override scope should be *actgrp......right? This is pretty much the case. However, we think of it the other way around. We leave the override at the activation group and if that is not wanted we change it to the job scope. Nearly 100% of the time we eliminate the override after it is used. Remember that if you are using OpnQryF that it has an override scope parm on it, too. Patrick Conner www.ConnecTown.com (828) 244-0822
