Kathie, We revamped our standards here to use RPGIV and ILE concepts exclusively. We currently use one consultant whose contract renewal was contingent on his becoming at least somewhat fluent in this type of programming. He went in kicking and screaming. But after a couple of months, he is pressuring another of his clients into using these tools. I don't believe, especially for consultants, that you have the choice anymore to use or not use ILE, it's going to be forced on you when you run into it. Just as C programmers who maintain other's code are forced to learn OOPs and program in C++. I just hope I am never forced to learn C#. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
