Hi Michael, Sure, use Ops Navigator to setup a PPP connection on your AS/400, then dial into that with Windows Dial-Up Networking. Once you're connected, any telnet client can be used to access your iSeries. hth, Peter Dow Dow Software Services, Inc. 909 425-0194 voice 909 425-0196 fax ----- Original Message ----- From: michael_brown@network400.com.au To: RPG400-L@midrange.com Sent: Wednesday, June 27, 2001 6:33 PM Subject: Dial Up AS400 Connection Hi all, Does anyone know of a way that I can dial directly into an AS400? I know about the standard dial up networking connections that can be used via a LAN. However, is there any AS400 emulation software that will allow me to dial in and connect directly to a modem attached to the 400 so that I can see a 5250 session? Is Ops Navigator capable of doing this? Currently, I can pass through from one AS400 to another AS400 via the dial up line, but I would like to be able to bypass this procedure, and dial in directly from my laptop. Thanks in advance, Michael Brown _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
