Martin, We have different environments for all countries, which are copies of the source, object and data libraries used on their own AS/400 systems. Our way of working is slightly different from what you mention, because it is quite possible that the same file has a different number of fields in different countries or even different fields with the same name (for instance the customer number field in Italy is 5A, but in Spain it's 10A). That's what makes it difficult. Peter Colpaert Analyst-Programmer Honda Europe NV Langerbruggestraat 104 B-9000 Gent (Belgium) Peter.Colpaert@honda-eu.com ---------- FATAL ERROR! You can then manage your library lists to control which environment is being used. It's a bit of a change management/maintenance nightmare though if you've got, say, 20 different environments (you have check all environments for enhanced versions of programs/files being changed). This is a very large software package which is constantly being updated and has some programs dating back to 1983 still in use. I am glad I don't work on it anymore.
