The best book I've read for getting started with subprocedures in Brad
Stone's "e-RPG" book. Although it's meant to teach how to build web app's
on the as/400, his examples make extensive use of subprocedures. They're
very clear and easy to follow, probably because they're complete, working
examples rather than snippets.

Subject: Subprocedures

Hello,

Does anyone have any book or website recommendations for a "self-study"
approach to learning subprocedures? (or any ILE development for that
matter) It would be helpful if it had an example-based approach such as the
book: Essentials of Subfile Programming and Advanced Techniques in RPGIV.
Thank you!

Sharon
