I didn't make this up to make my point, this thread was a discussion of programming standards which issued from a post concerning the migration to ILE from RPG IV. If the thread had been a discussion of programming tools, suppose the original topic had been "Code 400 Propaganda", then your comments might have fit in. Certainly the word standards might mean "100 different things to 100 different people" but maybe those people should try to put it in the context of the discussion they are in.
