Thank you.  That is a nice way of doing it.
I guess I was thinking more along the lines of program to system fields to
control these as well.

If you are on V4R5 you can do something like this. The display file also
requires the INDARA keyword.
The indicators are linked to "events" in the display file. rollup is the
ROLLUP(25) sort_changed is a CHANGE(33) keyword on a field.
