Easiest: Create a CL program to retreive the system name
RTVNETA SYSNAME(&SYSNAME) and that returns &sysname as a parameter.

Do the same thing for serial number:
 RTVSYSVAL SYSVAL(QSRLNBR)
           RTNVAR(&SRLNBR)

What is the best (easiest) way to pull in the system name or
serial number for a RPG program?
