Yes, I know that there are some clients and/or organizations that do not allow
one to turn off sending HTML, but does any client not allow the option to send
plain text as well?

So I should have clarified my original statement.  Even if you can't turn off
HTML formatting, please try to send the plain text as well.  Otherwise, those
of us stuck with 19th century email clients will see a blank email message.

I do not suppose that we can do anything about organizations in the internet
world forcing people (most times unknowingly) into sending HTML mail.  I.e.
AOL, various web based free email systems.  Even outlook express seems to
default to HTML.
