Most Christian locations actually adopted the Gregorian calendar around the
1600's.

...anyway,as it is very obvious, everyone has their own style of doing
things.

It's sure not obvious from the formula by itself that there's a seed date.
I just assumed there had to be one and did a web search on Zeller's
congruence.
