I also am doing a 4 part series on ILE for the beginner in AS.400 (iSeries) Experts Journal. I think Part 3 is the current one and Part 4 is coming.  It's based of a powerpoint I used to teach ILE and I get great responses on it.  If you wish, email me privately and I can send you the Powerpoint presentation.

A great resource is Brad Stone’s eRPG book.  Even if you plan to do no web programming, his examples use subprocedures extensively and he puts it in a very easy to understand way.

Hi,

    We are just getting started with using ILE, and its a little confusing.  I got the go ahead to get some training materials. I know Manta & ATS has some stuff out there. Has anyone used these or know of some others that are available?  We want something in house. The local college/tech has few programming classes and nothing for ILE.
