Hi Massoglia, You are absolutely correct, DFRWRT(*NO) applies to all record formats within the display file but FRCDTA keyword applies to particular format. This morning I switched on FRCDTA keyword then compiled the display file with its default setting DFRWRT *YES, my program is running fine. One thing I couldn’t figure out why DFRWRT parameter is not given as a SDA file level keyword and why it is available at compilation time? It is just because of the performance issue or any other reason? Any comment. Regards. Amir System Analyst, SCC, K.S.A.
