RE: How to transfer AS/400 data file through FTP

If the PC data base has a import utility, like SQLLDR in Oracle, the easiest
thing is to create a text file in the 400 IFS (CPYTOIMPF) in a format the
data import utility can handle, FTP the text file, and run the import
utility on the PC.  If you can't use ODBC or some other direct access
method, you're limited to exporting and importing a text file.
