I read an article about performance reading file with date/timestamps fileds: http://www.midrangecomputing.com/mc/article.cfm?titleid=b1825&md=20013 I'd like to know if also other poeple on the list found the same problem since numbers there are quite impressive. Since 2 yaers we are developing using (why not) dates and timestamps types and I was feeling that reading them in RPG was "slow motion" if compared with the old style dates (packed 8,0). But was just a feeling... I'm also intrested in ear Barbara and Hans opinion..... Marco __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
