read Brad Stones book on E-RPG.

I found it real easy to read and then code - exactly what you want to do,

Then, you can use your current skill-set to do web-paging..

You may wqant to join the    WEB400@midrange.com    list though.
Some people get touchy about  using a vanilla RPG list to discuss topics 
covered by another list.
