It is fairly simple to recreate the source code for physical and logical files.
I have even written a program to do 90% of the work for me.  Basically it does
a DSPFFD to an *outfile, then reads through the *outfile and creates a QDDSSRC
member with the information it finds there.  Then I do a DSPFD and get the 
key information, and modify the source file to include the key information.

If someone wanted to I guess they could improve on this and pull in the key
information from the program itself, and the field descriptions.

Unfortunately I can't help you with your ADM question, since we don't use
ADM here (I don't think).
