Hello Group,

Another 2 small questions

We are modifying a ready made package which most of its sources are not available, some internal developed programs sometimes use logical file based on PF that we don't have their sources.

1.If we use the ADM/400 the logical files and the programs using them are not created and parts not built...the question is Can we make something such that the logical file can be created (I mean can we change something in the project setup or the build commands? such that the logical files would be at least created - not built)

I tried this before maybe on other OS/400 version it was only the part which can not be built but object was created. May be I was dreaming but I think this happens with me...

2. If no solution for this, these logical files will be only used during the end of day procedures. They are created by Cl programs that pick up the DDS of these logical files and then they  will be deleted by he start of day. What would be the best ideas with minimal changes to the already existing programs to eliminate these logical files such that we wont have problems with the ADM.

(I think they are only used for sorting only).

Thanks in advance for helping me
Heba.
