Hi Mike,

Here's what we use (just an example):

C**
C** SETLL OF SCTBL1
C**
C/EXEC SQL
C+ DECLARE CR1 CURSOR FOR
C+ SELECT *
C+ FROM SCTBL1
C+ WHERE C1CNST >= :S1CNST
C+ AND C1ATFG = 'A'
C+ ORDER BY C1CNST
C/END-EXEC

followed by:

C/EXEC SQL
C+ OPEN CR1
C/END-EXEC
C**

and:

C**
C/EXEC SQL
C+ FETCH CR1
C+ INTO :DSSCT1
C/END-EXEC

In this example DSSCT1 is an externally described data structure of the file in
question.

Hope this helps you.

Peter

is there(i'm sure there is- i just don't know it) an sql equivelant for a
SETLL .
i have a program that loads a page at a time subfile, that i'm trying to
modify to us embedded SQL to load the SUBFILE. The program has SETLL
