The SAVE(*YES) does NOT say whether or not the spool file stays on the sending system after sending via SNDNETSPLF! It specifies whether the spool file is deleted after printing or not. What we are doing here is we create a separate output queue on the receiving side that is not attached to a printer. The spool files will go into this output queue and remain there until a user on the receiving side changes the spool file to whatever properties they want (save(*yes) dev(p1), whatever).
