Title: RE: Multithreaded Programming

I too am researching using threads.  I need a single job to wait at both a data queue and a socket.  Currently I have two jobs.  The first uses a select() to wait at a socket and the second sits at data queue.  The second has a socket connection to the first.  The transactions received via the data queue are sent down the socket connection.  I want to combine these two jobs into one.  I also want the receiver thread to write directly to the sockets.  Hopefully someone has experience with multi-threading.
