Phil, what you describe often happens if you code
options(*nopass) rather than options(*omit), and then don't
pass the third parameter to CEETSTA.  (Or if you don't even
include the third parameter in your prototype at all ...)

I just mention this in case anyone else ever has similar
problems and finds this thread in the archive.  In your case,
I have no idea what could be causing this problem.

By the way, to code the callp the way you have, you need to
code CONST for the second parameter.
