Bill,

I would suggest you go into the archives and look at the extremely long
discussion that went on regarding this.  It went on for a very long time
(10 days, from September 5th when the original question was posed to September
14th, when is the last reply I see), consists of 64 messages and went quite in 
depth as to how it could be done in many different ways and the various 
advantages/drawbacks to any given way.

In other words, been there, done that <g>

Are you a programmer or just make up excuses to not do things? 

Your program is going to print a detail and total line for a reason, when 
that reason happens ADD 2 TO THE COUNTER.
