One of our AS/400's at a plant operating in an "Lights out" mode, Called us and IBM up in the middle of the night saying "My DASD doesn't feel good, Send someone to check please" No one in the plant even knew anything was wrong(machine just kept on running) until an IBM rep showed up the next morning. On the other hand, My PC at work (and 4 more within the couple of weeks - name brand Compac not 3rd party junk) had it's disk drive go "Casters up" so to speak. Ya, lost everything on my hard drive. Total reload.
