hi Reddy,
It has been years since i got THAT involved in subfiles, but i vaguely remember
solving that problem with RTNCSRLOC before displaying the window, then use
CSRLOC when it is cancelled using the variables you dumped into to relocate it.

Hope this helps.

Got a simple question....

How would i control the cursor position in a subfile???.

For example...

Lets say i am at third page of the subfile & i have selected 5th record in
that page by entering "1" at the option field. I display a window subfile
on the same screen. If i cancel the window subfile.. i want my cursor to be
at the fifth record only. Right now the cursor is moving to first record of
the third page.

Please note i have tried to use SFLCSRRRN, CSRLOC... they don't seem to
work. Appreciate if you guys can give me an example that works.

Any Ideas.

Thanks.
Reddy
