Oh, sure, Dave, go ahead and poke holes in the guy's balloon! ;-) <blush> Sheesh, I hate it when I do that. Dan Bale IT - AS/400 Handleman Company 248-362-4400 Ext. 4952 -------------------------- Original Message -------------------------- Dan, Doesn't ISDB use the source file member to display it? Might be a little hard for it to display something that isn't there. ;) The ILE source debugger (STRDBG) is the one that can use the listing embedded in the program, IF it was compiled with one. Dave Shaw Spartan International, Inc. Spartanburg, SC -----Original Message----- From: D.BALE@handleman.com [mailto:D.BALE@handleman.com] Hopefully, there's a much better way than what I am about to suggest, but if there's not, it's probably better than nothing. I'm presuming you don't have the last compile listing in an outqueue somewhere, right? Fire up the app via STRISDB and start copying and pasting. Told ya it wouldn't be pretty! BTW, last time I was responsible for backups, I had messages sent to my user profile and a report of each save operation [OUTPUT(*PRINT)] in a special outqueue. Also, after all the saves completed, I did a DSPTAP DATA(*LABELS) and DSPTAP DATA(*SAVRST). I know, I know, water under the bridge. Hindsight is 20/20. Ya better figure it'll happen again, though. Think, too, you got off cheap, REAL cheap, by the fact that you lost one source member. You might not be so lucky next time! Just wondering, does CMS keep a "version" archive of old source members? Finally, somebody already mentioned www.sourceretrieval.com. Good luck!
