Apologies as I got this from digest,
so its a bit old. 

Someone asked.
I need to get the user NAME and JOB NUMBER 
after the job completes for SNDNETSPLF for
a CLP that runs the next Day.


You would be better off to create a Data Queue.
Attach the Data Queue to the Output Queue
to where the spool file is written/created.
Next day invoke the data queue processor
, all the info u need is in the Data Queue.
