We use a full shared ODP on every file in the application. We also use a lot
of program calls that
return without setting on LR and it's to provide performance that rivals a
monolithic program
design.

We have not delved into ILE isolation because the shops I work in the staff
wears many hats. If I
created a named activation group for each application and had a shared ODP in
each AG, the users
would have 5 AG's and more ODP's than they do now.
