Hi Jon - >PS. What on earth is wrong with named AGs? Since they are >the foundation for ILE (i.e. the way it was designed to work) >I find it hard to guess at what you find wrong with them. Actually, as I think about it, my objections to named activation groups don't really apply to service programs. I stand by my standard of only using *CALLER or *NEW for *PGMs. I'll have to think more about service programs. Remember, I'm writing my first actual service program, so I'm still working out what I want to do. And since I'm the only programmer in the shop who is likely to ever write any service programs, whatever I decide to do will be the standard! <G> Ken Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada, Inc.
