Just think of what life would be like if we never reinvented the wheel! We'd be driving cars where the wheels were nothing more than a piece of a tree-trunk. The wheels wouldn't be particularly round, the ride would be VERY rough, and you'd be lucky if your wheel stayed together for any significant distance. Reinventing the wheel makes lots of sense, as long as the result of such a reinvention is bringing you value! The process of continually reinventing and improving technologies is what keeps us in business! Go inventors go!
