Count them <grin> just kidding.  How about running a query on the file and it 
will show the records with the record number to the
left, or is this something that will have to be done more than once? Are you 
looking for a specific record and want the relative
record number for that record?

Could any one tell me how to get the Actual Record number for a record in a 
data base
file.
