Duly noted. I respect your opinion on the matter.

If you mean superfluous (not being cheeky - I don't know what superficious
means), then you're wrong until someone comes along and provides an example
of what the semicolon has enabled us to do, that we couldn't do without it.
Or what the semicolon is _going to_ allow us to do, that we wouldn't be able
to do without it.

I have news for you Jim; you _DO_ have a limit of one statement per line.
Multiple statements per line are not allowed. Still think it isn't
superfluous?
