I don't know but try changing the activation group to *caller and see if the
pattern changes. I tend to think that activation group creation and destroy
is the problem but test it for yourself.

-|Subject: PEX on RPGLE - Question
-|
-|
-|
-|
-|
-|Hello there,
-|
-|I had to run PEX *PROFILE on an ILE RPG program to see what statements in
-|the program are sucking up the CPU.
-|
-|In the PEX *PROFILE report I noticed a lot of CPU being consumed by
-|statement Zero and the Last statement # in the program.
-|Do you folks know what this means???? Mind you this is an ILE program
-|compiled with ACTGRP *NEW.
-|
-|Help would be greatly appreciated.
