Why not create a library utilizing the job number, like X123456? Delete it
when the jobs are done. Write a maintenance routine to delete all
libraries beginning with an X and a number that are not created in the last
day or so.

Or, don't create the files in the first job, wait until the second. This
isn't the classic example of prompt screen fills in a file and submits a
Query to batch which joins against the work file is it? Pass the values as
a parameter, if possible.

Hi all

I'm sure this is an easy way to do this that I don't know about. I have an
RPG program that produces a file in QTEMP. The job then submits a second
job. I need to be able to access the files created in the QTEMP library
from the first job. How can I pass the files with the submitted job? I
want to use QTEMP because several users can be running this job at the same
time and QTEMP will allow me to have individual copies of the same files
without banging into each other.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
