I have tried.  Forget about it.  Rewrite the program in RPG IV.  It takes a LOT
less time.  I have done it both ways, by converting the program then fixing the
zillion errors and process logic problems that crop up and rewriting the 
program.

It takes at least 1/5th the time to rewrite the program than to convert it.
