Hi,

Your PC will need an FTP server running. That means it must be either an NT
server or Win 2000 professional. Assuming that this is the case try to do an
interactive FTP to the PC. If that doesn't work check that your service is
started.

Hello All,

I need to transfer a database file to a PC(remote workstation). I need to do
this as a batch job. When I tried to ftp to the PC(using the PC name, the
as400 resolves the IP address), I am getting an error " Could not able to
connect. Try again later". But when I ping the PC from the AS400, the ping
was successfull.

How can I connect to the PC from AS400...?

I am using RUMBA emulation software.
