Well Robert I don't appreciate this thread at all. 

I'm looking at these messages and all I'm hearing are alarm bells.  I'm 
sensing from this thread that SQL on an AS/400 can give you bad data if 
you are not fully versed in the rituals of the Knights Of %Null. 

This is scary.  Really scary.  There's a lot of SQLRPGLE programs out 
there with no mention of null indicators.

Hopefully I am just stupid yet again.

I appreciate the answers given to my earlier query regarding RPG's ability

handle null capable fields but have one more question:

Can anyone identify drawbacks in using the opcodes CHAIN or SETLL on a 
file the
key list of which has null capable fields?
