Sorry to push this, but no one has responded twice to my inquires about
PCML.

This is from IBM 400 web site;

 " " Basically, PCML is a powerful tool used to describe an
 AS/400 program interface. As we get into details of how a
 programmer implements PCML, you'll see how it can be used to
 drive automatic data translation, too. Again, all this can be
 accomplished with a lot less coding on the user's part. PCML
 helps build the AS/400 Toolbox for Java objects that represent
 AS/400 program call parameters " "

Shouldn't we be looking for an program to program interface that is
language neutral?
It seems like I will have to learn PCML interface to communicate between
Java and RPG anyway. Would PCML be of any advantage for RPG to RPG calls?
Maybe with AS/400 extensions?

It will also be used for XML type communications too right?

Try this site for a short class
