Spartanburg, SC -----Original Message----- From: hlseltzer@jlg.com [mailto:hlseltzer@jlg.com] Hello all. We use Mapics as our ERP package. I am modifying a program that writes, among other things, data to our EDI files for 850's (purchase orders, we are using Harbinger...oops, Peregrine, as our translator). We have run into a small problem........the program, in the test environment, is not outputting any data to the EDI files. We have checked, double checked, and triple checked the program, and we cannot see anything that would be preventing this from happening. I even tried using the object before our changes, and still get nothing. We've compiled, recompiled, etc, and nothing seems to work. We are getting an error message on the write statements to the files, but as you will see, it is non-descriptive: Error: To the EDIPOSA file........that's it, that's all it says, nothing else. Am I missing the obvious?? Perhaps I am so involved, the solution is looking me right in the face, and I can't see it.......does anyone have any suggestions as to why we get no output?? One tidbit.........in the test environment, I have always gotten the above listed error message, however, when answered for all the files, the data would be written.
