I would format and extract to a flat file daily replacing the existing data.
I would have a pc run a FTP batch daily to pull the flat file data down to
itself.

Okay, the question remains then.  If I have shares on my network, can I get
to them from my
AS/400 on the same wire.  V3R7M0.

So far, it seems the answer is "no".

I know I can do it on V4Rwhatever and really want to be able to upgrade, but
I know it just
ain't gonna happen.
