If you don't want to register with IBM to download the redbook from a website, you have the option to simply BUY the redbook, thus avoiding the need to register. It's relatively painless and doesn't pry as much as other registrations I have seen. I find it to be a fair trade - access to the information I want/need in return for a little information from me. At least they are not requiring a monetary subscription to the site in order to access the information. Then again, I was taught not to expect something for nothing. If you really think you should have the right to access for free the information they have paid a price to create, then just register with fake information using one of the many email for free sites. What's the difference between that and wanting to use someone else's login? In either case, it's not tied to you - except possibly through your IP address when you submit the request to download the information. jw ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Re: Visual Basic Code on OS400 Author: "Bill" <bubbzbill@yahoo.com> at Internet Date: 09/12/2000 10:30 AM > Checkout http://www.vb400.com/ Does it make sense to anyone that to get the redbook referenced on this site from IBM I need to register with IBM? Would anyone like to share their ID and password? Bill __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo!
