John Carr suggested this approach. IMO, the easiest way to code the solution is to 1) add an *entry parm on the print program. The parm is for total pages. 2) Call program once, with the parm = 0 and at end move *PAGE to the parm. 3) DLTSPLF (because report prints "Page x of 0") 4) Call program again this time with total pages entered for parm A couple changes to RPG and a 10-line CL should do it. jt -----Original Message----- From: owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of James David Rich Sent: Tuesday, September 05, 2000 3:53 PM To: rpg400-l@midrange.com Subject: page n of x I need to put 'page n of x' on a printout. I know I can easily use a dds keyword to get the current page. Is there something that tells my program how many pages there are? Maybe a dds keyword like PAGE?
