If you have the 'ILE RPG for AS/400 Programmer's Guide Version 4' (IBM publication SC09-2507-01) there is an example of converting data to the hex value (page 95). As far as adding the values together, that is one to work on......you might be able to declare constants with the hex values and add the constants together...just a thought. If you do not have the book, let me know and I can scan it in and send it to you...
