Hi!

First set up CLASSPATH environment variable and then submit command QSH
rmiregistry ( or QSH rmiregistry <port number> ) using SBMJOB command with
CPYENV(*YES). Next start application.

BTW: It is possible to start rmi registry directly in shell environment as
background process (&rmiregistry <port number>), or directly from java
application using class LocateRegistry.

Subject: RMI

Dear Friends,
This is problem related to Clint server Application which I tried to built
with AS400 as a Server.
The Client is PC based JDK1.2. Server is AS400 based Java. I was trying to
do it through RMI. On PC to PC environment I tried an example it worked.
The same Application when i tried to do on the AS400 it gave me Exception
Error "NotBoundException".
Could anyone of you suggest a remedy for this problem.
Dheeraj.
Thanks,
