Try this,  It works for my CGI-RPG

EVAL   AMTA     =  %EDITC(AMOUNT):'J')

Where AMTA is an Alpha field long enough to contain the editted amount
field

I do this if I want to get rid of the Decimals

 EVAL    AMTA     =  %EDITC(%INTH(AMOUNT):'J')

Hi All
I am working in converting  some reports to CGI programs in ILE RPG.The
problem is displaying decimal datas with proper commas and full stops in
the web page.I have written service programs but would like to have any
tools written or any API's or any easy solutions

 Would appreciate any help
