We have a software package that runs native on the 400 in RPG and/or RPG/400. Our users want the vendors GUI version that requires WIN/NT, but will still use the AS/400 database. We currently have a nightly process that runs for both of our AS/400 applications to talk to each other. I'm not familiar with DB2/400 and the vendor says that our nightly process may need to be modified to accommodate this. Anything I need to learn about DB2/400 or is this something the 400 will already handle?
