I think the "thank you" messages conserve electrons, particularly for
questions that many people answer.

You might check the value of LOOPED before starting that DOU loop.  No sense
in wasting beer. <g>

We should at least stay on the subject.  There's too much chit-chat on
the list.  It should be brief and to the point, for example:

I'm having trouble with my do loop.  Here's what I'm doing:

   C                       DOU LOOPED
   C                       DRNKBEER
   C                       ENDDO

Instead of comments to questions, there should be more examples of
how to get from point A to B and back again.  Less of wastes of
electrons for things like "Thanks Phil!" on a reply.  Can we all agree on
this?
