× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I don't have samples of using translation tables but there is a sample of
writing directly to the IFS using RPG in the RPG Redbook "Who knew you
could do that ......" which you can find at www.redbooks.ibm.com.  Code
page conversion is taken care of by the IFS APIs and you may find the
additional flexibility useful.
