I've seen one package, KeyesMail, that did a nice text editor with word wrap. I talked to the programmer about it and he said it wasn't too difficult, although he wouldn't give me the details. Trade secrets and all. What I think he did was just have 80 column fields (arrays) that auto advanced, so when you entered a character into the last position, it returned to the program. The program then went to the field and grabed the last word, if the last character was not a space, and moved it down to the next field, deleting it from the field just entered. Pretty nifty in operations though.
